Snail slime harvesting
Our harvesting process is based on the know-how of the first certified organic snail farm in France. After more than 4 years of research, we have developed a harvest without suffering for the snail which guarantees an exceptional quality of mucus. By taking one snail at the time, with the dexterity that only a human hand can offer, we collect a very heavy mucus very rich in protein.
In our laboratory, in the Loire region, we formulate our products to aim at a maximum amount of snail slime extract they contain. We claim between 50 and 93% snail slime extract while the rest of the ingredients is from organic farming. At the end, we propose to our customers products with more than 98% active ingredients.
